So lonely, no energy even to sound an alarm
I live in dark shadows, shunning anyone’s pity
Others are happy, but such never my prize
When awakening, the sun may shine
Never-the-less every day is gray-bleak
Passions of life have drained from my soul
Here in my doldrums, I wallow alone
