Rhyming Poem contest entry

It starts out dark and dreary, but ends with a rainbow

Receiving gifts I don't deserve, yet they all seem to flow

Our Savior paid it all for me, and all to Him I owe

I count my blessings daily, because daily they all grow

When Judas betrayed Jesus, 'twas before the rooster's crow

Then Pilate gave the choice away; it was politico

They nailed him to the cross, thinking there's nowhere he can go

How could He love us from up there, while looking down below

I'm thankful for the blessings, even ones he's yet to show

I cannot count as high as what the Trio had bestow

I count my family and friends, you are the best I know

I pray, one day together, we'll live in His AfterGlow
