Don't let temptation be your boss, For then you're certain to suffer loss. Every time that you fail to stand You'll lose and life will go out of hand. Don't let temptation make you slip. When climbing life's mountain get a grip. If you give in, you'll slide way down To the mire and bog in which you'll drown. Don't let temptation you distract. You'll lose conviction by such an act. If you take your eyes off the ball there are consequences and you'll fall. Don't let temptation rule your life. You'll only have turmoil, pain and strife. God has a plan for you to fill. Keep your eyes focused doing His Will. Recognized Author Notes I wasn't able to finish this for the contest but thought the concept was really good, so wanted to post this anyway. Temptation seems so attractive at the time, but there's always a price to pay. I want to thank Long Thian for his amazing artwork. He really catches the spirit of the battle going on behind the scenes!
