Race alone should not qualify. by Willie P. Smith
Thoughts on race contest entry

We are all children of God, endowed with certain abilities.  Race nor sex qualifies as an ability.  We have allowed race and sex to become the most important ingredients for leadership.  This has divided our country and we
may never recover.  Placing one race above the other is a big factor in the
Attempted destruction of America. The color of a person's skin does not determine intelligence or ability.  For instance, the title of First Lady does not
qualify for the presidency.  Too often unqualified people are placed in leadership positions that determine our national security.  Race does not replace ability.  Just because a certain race or sex has not held a high leadership position should not qualify him/her for such position.  That would place America in a very dangerous position, such as we find ourselves in today. The most qualified person is a must. We have seriously weakened our great country by allowing race and sex to become the most import factor in choosing our leadership.  As a matter of fact, I believe we are the only country that selects our leaders in that fashion.  In a stupid frenzy to quiet
the squeaky wheel, we have stepped in a rabbit hole that may be too deep to crawl from.  I would love to be a NFL quarterback. Should I be qualified just because there has never been an 85 year old quarterback?  That makes as much sense as qualifying a person based on race alone.

How much longer are we going to keep destroying our country with appeasement rather than ability and strong leadership  I write this while
I still have the freedom to do so, or do I?
