I find the darkness glorious For stars shine just at night Pure moonbeams bathe a few of us In their romantic light 'Tis bliss to hear nocturnal sounds A bullfrog's croak is sweet Sly hooting owls will scan the grounds While crickets strum the beat And as I wander through the trees Their shadows gently sway I feel a cloak of twilight ease The burdens of the day I love the night, embrace its charms Sweet peace now reigns supreme The darkness wraps me in its arms Where I can safely dream   Writing Prompt Write a poem about darkness.
