Watching Dolphins by jake cosmos aller
Humanities Poetry Contest contest entry

I have seen lots of dolphins play

In the wild, three times

Once in the Caribbean off Barbados

Once off Dan Point in San Diego

And most recently in Australia

The dolphins surrounded our boat

In Dana Point, San Diego

and gave us quite a show

Fluking and diving

No gray whales though

Or other whale sprouts

Wrong season for them
