Author Notes
I got mixed reviews on my poem about spring. The relationship I was trying to paint between trees and spring was not coming across clearly to all readers. Also, I was informed that a haiku should not use punctuation - especially not strong punctuation. Apparently enjambment is also a no-no. So I rewrote the poem to make sure the theme stayed the same, but the style was more correct for the form. Thanks to Gypsy Blue Rose for the lesson on this particular form.
