In Tolkien lore extrovert Glorfindel is a famous warrior with Golden Locks who died fighting a Balrog , a foul creature . He was sent back from the Halls of Mandos by the Gods to serve in the House of Lord Elrond in Imladris, later called Rivendell.
Here lives quiet black maned Erestor chancellor , first advisor and closest friend of Lord Elrond and his family
Glorfindel and Erestor are often paired as lovers in fan fic stories.
Asfaloth is Glorfindel s faithful steed.
