Exceptional Life isn't Easy......period The Fight by Sandra Nelms-Ludwig

NOTHING in life comes easy.   I knew this by age nine.   Try as I might I couldn't be a child.   Ever present were struggles to overcome.   Goes with being poor, black and in the south in the 1950's.   The card deck was stacked and burned to ashes.   Way beyond my expectations I grew.   I survived, and I thrived.   Plan on never underestimating a born warrior.     Recognized Author Notes Nothing I try ever goes the way I plan, but I still survive. The photo is of me getting my Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree. My father went to 6th grade and my mom to 7th grade. I was their only child out of six to go to college. If they were proud, they never said it nor did my siblings.
