See him dangle,watch him curl
Back and forth,spin and twirl
Wind and weave,twist and twine
Row by row,line by line.
Watch with awe, as he perfects
This master mind of all insects
Now, at last, his task completed
Undereneath a leaf secreted
Waits the spider for a fly
Or some other passer by.
Having seen him weave and toil
Who am I, to wreck and spoil
This marvel of the master spinner
And deprive him of his dinner.
