In April, violet and heather share in the glory; each one a fan of their Earth-Mother's story. They muster and bluster and cluster so tight, sure of their purpose; to weather the fight. Delicate flowers? That, they are not. They've dug in their roots, Fiercely claiming their spot. The victory is theirs, their presence proclaims. They fend off the storms, Undeterred, play their games.     Writing Prompt For those of you out there freezing in these winter months, let your writer's imagination take you someplace warm and wonderful! Write a poem any style or length that gives us all a reprieve from the snow and cold and lets us anticipate what's in store!
