We all anticipated the worst was over. Things were getting complicated. The doctor reported that I was near my last whiff. Matters appeared to have gotten more vital than they thought. I had a culmination, near blurry vision. I heard my grandmother's soft cries again, an impulsive blur of fright as we waited through the night. Early morning screams devastated hearts as the following day arrived. It was an agitating juncture for my grandmother. She had to decide as soon as possible; with fast thinking, she made the best decision that would save my life. I underwent another surgery. There were further complications.

Vitality had just gotten more complicated for me. I didn't comprehend, but I knew I had to be substantial, regardless of what the outcome was, not only for myself but primarily for my grandmother's sake as well. My fight wasn't yet over. Months went by and time appeared to have come to a stop. Everything was transpiring rapidly. It was like a dream, a long fiction. God made me see the vision, the truth. Instead of a planned fantasy, it was reality. I suffered tremendous damage to my ability to walk, talk, and smell; I lost my eyesight. After undergoing many surgeries, I slipped into a coma: a state of extreme unconsciousness while lying there in a deep trance, trapped:

Between worlds, fighting for my life, I heard loud screaming and soft cries. I listened to my grandma whispering in my ear. I heard her voice say wake up, hang in there, baby; you listen to me. She told me not to give up without a fight. My grandmother was a brave woman with a loving and courageous soul with a priceless heart. Her spirit was one of a kind. Her enthusiasm alone was all I needed to help me survive such terrible combat.
