OUT OF THE BLUES
The sadness drags me slowly to my tomb
The urge to smash her head against a wall
That tiny little babe who ripped my womb
She screams for love, not knowing I'm not whole

Alone I gasp and sink in murky hue
He turns away and disregards my plea
He's off for work, his whistling is a cue
It's me and her anew, I have to flee

I'm scared of me, so scared of hurting her
Oh! How I curse that blues to set me free
I beg, who'll come to stitch my womb with myrrh?
Before she meets her death by my decree

She'll go her way one day, a queen or muse
She'll live because I came out of the blues
