Author Notes
Dogs can detect each other's gender, reproductive status, age, size, and state of health, general status in life, and when they passed by via their innate "communication systems".
Owners do not get much exercise with all the frequent stops - but at least the dogs are all keeping in touch with each other and sharing their news!
