God, this world is in chaos, I'm groping in darkness. . .  "I am the light of the world!"   How am I to live? Where do I find meaning? "I am the way!"   I can't trust anyone, No-one speaks the truth . . . "I am the truth!"   I am afraid of dying . . . Is there anything else? "I am the life!"   I am stressed, so tired I have had enough . . . "I will give you rest!"   I can't cope with all this strife So many burdens to bear . . .  "In me you will find peace!"   I really want to be loved Accepted as I am . . . "My love is from everlasting to everlasting!"     I searched for God . . . He found me!   Put loving arms around me . . .   Comforted my tears,   Released me from fears . . .   Now purpose and meaning I see   From now to eternity.     Writing Prompt Write a poem about God, to God, or what God means to you.
