Troy was a half labrador half pitbull
but he was a friendly soul
the dog had an owner
who bullied him and cut his tail off, what a downer
He was abandoned near the lake
I rescued him for his sake
when I took him home
he was accepted- never again lonesome
A wild caring dog with much charm
though frisky, he meant no harm
My Troy dog loved me
he was rambunctious, loved to run free
His memories are in my heart
Sadly, the day came we had to part
Even at the end
He was my best friend
He knew it was time for him to go away
He crossed the Rainbow Bridge that day
I know I'll see Troy again
He'll be waiting for me then
