My writer's block again constrains
the grinding gears that work my brains.
I saw the prompt and said, "Oh, yes."
The aimless void I dare address
but still this numbing smog remains.
Where mental logic seeps and drains,
my interest in this project wanes.
I doubt it's worth this time or stress,
my writer's block.
I've dragged you through my woes and pains.
I leave you with no hopeful gains.
I know it stinks, I must confess,
but still you read it nonetheless.
I hope this dulling piece explains
my writer's block.
