I delighted in the springtime rain,
that helped the flowers bloom.
I delighted in the summer sun,
that helped dispel my gloom.
I'm delighting now, in Autumn leaves,
the bright colors of fall.
Soon, the cold beauty of wintertime,
will hold us all in thrall.
Strong winds will blow it's icy breath,
soon, the earth is wrapped in white.
We'll wait beside the fireplace,
'till the early morning's light.
Snow people pop up everywhere,
they are nattily attired.
One has two eyes of marbles,
this young sculptor was inspired.
In Minnesota, when snow gets deep,
we can't go anywhere.
We'll get dug out, but until then,
we'll snuggle without a care.
Four seasons shine with many charms,
and each one I embrace.
Aren't we lucky to be alive?
The world's a lovely place.
