A little boy's heart born incomplete
Life's just begun yet darkness greets
In tender care, his journey begins
Tubes and needles, are permanent pins
Through bottled air his lungs depend
Limbs so frail as organs descend
Every breath, a stifled prayer
Bound for God, for a child laid bare
Often falling to lights divine
Yearning for peace and pain's decline
Silence broke this little boy's fight
Hungry cries, a mother's delight
Embracing hope this life survives
All tears ebb, from grieving eyes
Reaching arms hold life's joy
That of life, for a little boy
