A poem about wisdom
Choose your fate carefully by royowen

Our time does not determine fate, nor does the setting sun,
it's judged by how we've loved that counts, reveals how grace was won.
By faith we know where duty lies, it's not where feelings rule.
The heart deceives and lets lust rise - don't be the devil's tool.

For grace does not depend upon those idols we have served,
but clearly it adheres to paths where grace and love have merged.
So do not guess and diagnose what self has said and done,
it's faith in Christ that's my advice, He is the Father's Son.

Though you may pray and plead all day in any other name,
you ask in vain though clouds may rain, none other wipes sin's blame.
We'll never win because of sin - perfection's not our bag,
it's only grace from God that counts, it wrests us from sin's hag.

The blood of Christ has paid sin's price It washes sin away.
It has no taint though doubt may faint. Resist what flesh may say.
If you will ask, God's promised task, is answer wisdom's call,
if help is claimed, and faith is maimed, He'll never let you fall.

Author Notes
The problem with sinl or wrong doing is it can wreck someone??????¢??s life, or the obvious one, see what it has done to the environment, it simply will not go away, only one way to slow it down, is to be selfless in your treatment of it, it will not excuse what you have already done, but Christ can forgive a repentant sinner, which wipes your sin debt away and perfects you in the sight of God. That is the grace He gives through Christs atoning sacrifice, you are forgiven, but the damage elsewhere remains.

Thanks for reading. R.Owen
