My godfather passed away, it doesn't mean he left me in any way, he is in my heart, looking out for me in safety is a great start.   I sometimes see visions of him, and often feel his presence of whim. He wants to talk to me of life, but he's in the afterlife. He helps me sometimes defeat the strife.   My remembrance of my godfather is filled with awesome thanks, I hope to be reunited with on Heaven's banks.   I probably was lucky to have a godfather. He's friends with my father. A public figure who earned his every dime. He's a famous lawyer at the time who solved many a crime.   I feel he's helping me do things on my own. For that, I thank him for what he's shown, I'm looked after, you see. Knowing how much he helped me, I now feel free. Writing Prompt Please write a rhyming poem about a spiritual subject. Please rhyme at least every other line.
