In short moments of time
time will devour one’s days
days therefore cannot be wasted
wasted on hurtful ways.
Ways creating only strife
strife causing only pain
pain which brings no relief
relief needed to stay sane.
Sane in a hard, cold world
world where one needs love
love and a helping hand
hand guided from above.
Above the perils of man
Man who knows not the hour
Hour one best be using
Using to spread God’s power.

The visual is a mural I painted at the nonprofit where I volunteer. We provide food, clothing and household items to those in need. The mural is on a wall in the household department.
