I voted Tuesday at City Hall in the voting booth covered in black. Casting my ballot, I checked it a second time before pulling the lever. I took a deep breath and, feeling proud I left for work. Mid-day Wednesday I heard of the results and felt no regrets. Writing Prompt Write a flash fiction story beginning with the words "I voted - " You can continue the sentence as you wish.
