Mirror Musings by Regina Elliott
Mirror contest writing prompt entry

I was never what you'd call a beauty,
no, "head turner," here,
yet, in the mirror, it's been clear,
that I have a big heart inside of me,
so, although my looks aren't up to par,
Christ's love for me, is beyond the
furthest star,
when I pass, it's Him first I want to see,
He's a comfort in this world of fear,
and a mirror I gaze into reveals a
soul to Him that knows He's dear.

Writing Prompt
Write a poem concerning you, or someone, and a mirror. Make it humerous or serious; make it structured or free verse, but keep it brief. Use the mirror as a metaphor in anyway you desire.

Author Notes
A lot of times beauty is within. ~
