The birds rejoiced. The sun warmed my skin as I admired the budding golden daffodils and bright red tulips. God's gifts blessed my morning, and happiness reigned.   My cell phone ring jarred me from my blissful state, and I answered the call.   "Hello."   A terrified voice screamed, "Mom, they've taken my kids."   "Who?"   An icy chill smothered my heart as I listened. A curtain of threatening clouds banished the sun's light.   I slumped into the deck chair. "Oh, Father in Heaven, please hear me. How did the hands of the devil touch our beautiful world and steal all hope again?"   Author Notes Life changes in a flash and we have no control.
