Spread pieces of bread on the patio
Wait for the coming squirrelly rodeo
Down the tree trunk, they come
Three guys scampering head to bum
Up on the patio they come, sniff about
Each and every morsel checked out
Three gobble, every fragment is tasted
Making sure not a single crumb is wasted
Scurrying back up the old maple tree
Happy to have another breakfast for free
