At work today, I asked Ted, "How are you doing?" "I had to have my wife rush me to the hospital last night. While working with the nailer on my patio, I dropped it and it fired a three inch nail into my skull. The X-ray showed it actually went into my brain. They removed it but might have to do surgery if it gets infected. That is crazy, right?" "To be honest, I was really just looking for, 'Fine.' "   Writing Prompt Write a story of 80 words. not including the title. Any subject accepted. Must be exactly 80 words.
