I've climbed to the top of the mountain, walked at the bottom of the hill. I've gone across rapid waters And water that was standing still. I've swum in waters that were very warm And many that gave me a chill. I've saddled horses that were barely broke And rode them all for a thrill. I've walked through meadows and forests And lain under large shade trees. I've cooked my meals over open fires And slept in the fresh summer breeze. I've fished off banks of rivers and streams And watched the salmon run. I've walked on the sand of many beaches and built sandcastles for fun. I've kissed the lips of a beautiful woman And made her my wife. all in all, I'm proud to admit, I've had a wonderful life. willie P. 4/28/22 Recognized Author Notes Some of the things that made my life what it is.
