Thunder roll across the darkening sky
Heavy rain drenching - nary a bird will fly
Umbrellas and raincoats are much needed
North wind howling like the devil interceded
Destruction stirred along its ominous path
Evoking visions of staggering Satanic wrath
Run is the instinct when cloud bursts occur
Sudden and violent damage may easily incur
Torrential rains lashing, shelter should be sought
Outside unprotected, you don’t want to be caught
Roiling thunderbolts scratching blacken clouds
Mellifluous darkness falls and enshrouds
