Aren't they beautiful? The things God made. The sun to warm us, And the trees for shade. The flowers so colorful, A lovely bouquet. The birds in the trees. A musical display. The grass on the hill, Like a carpet of green. The flow of the water, In a river or stream. Try to remember the beauty of it all. The rising of the sun and the waterfall. Let's try to remove The horrors of each day And enjoy the beauty Our Lord has on display. Recognized Author Notes The horrors of the day often make us forget the beauty all around us. It makes it very hard to enjoy life when people in another country are suffering and dying at the hands of a madman. We can only hope that if war comes to our shores, we are blessed with a leader like Ukraine has.
