When I was young
And you were mine
I never stopped to see
How deep your heart
Your feelings were
When you belonged to me
And when time passed
And you grew old
Was then i came around
But you were lost
And all alone
Yes they had stole your crown
I could not bear
To hear you cry
It broke my heart to see
For all those years
You were alone
That you had needed me
You were so bent
You stooped so low
Your eyes they were downcast
You looked at me
So I would know
You never left the past
