where will we be when the birds become baffled by the absence of a breeze?
Forced to lay waiting by withering mountains on the branches of tiring trees.
Who will we call when sound cannot travel anymore?
The wind ceases to snap while every word falls
like spit from a baby's bottle...ever so silently.
Our mind starts to play tricks on our senses, eyes wide open...body shut down.
The rhythm of our hearts matched by the rise in blood temperature according to nothing.
Then it happens...
no thunder
no lightning
no pain
no movement
no misery
just an idea that seconds ago...there was something.
