Each day unfolds mystery most forget,
Each holds magic that's hidden in plain sight,
Trees dance the wind's song outstretched silhouettes
Shadows swallowed by dark along with light.
Every dawn brings a new painted skyline,
Original soundtracks that can't repeat,
You can unplug and plug into divine,
Connect and get out where real people meet.
I shake off a trance, never knew had hold,
Freeze once more to see that I'm not alone,
Someone's eyes are locked in and staring cold,
Oh, It's me, reflecting back from my phone.
I never escaped, and thought I was free,
How much time did I lose? Have I lost me?

A reflection of how many irreplaceable limited moments we miss out on due to devices. We get lost in something that isnâ??t real and are told we are connecting but really I believe more connected we become through technology, the less we are truly connected. Wake up. Get out! We get one shot at this life thing, so get busy living!
