you caught me off guard when you touched eternity now I grieve alone Recognized Author Notes Aubrey, my husband of 48+ years, died on November 27, 2021, after suffering a cardiogenic shock very early November 1, 2021. This caused heart, kidney, and liver failure. An amazing team of doctors was able to bring him back (he was at the hospital when it happened). A four-week roller coaster ride of emotions ensued.
