My daughters home was an open door to many homeless kids

My daughter is a beauty
She showed it as a child
An aura would envelope her
Whenere my daughter smiled
I found that as she grew up
How special she became
Her focus never was on self
Life never was a game
It seemed love bloomed within her
It oozed from every pore
Whatever child was homeless
She had an open door
I know that I could never
Name names or count the score
Of kids that called her Mom
And settled on her shore
In later years her talents
Became apparent when
She started her own business
And gave it her own "spin"
Then from her own creation
Came "journals" with a twist
Made with bits and pieces
She never makes a list
What others have discarded
She turns it into booty
My daughter is so gifted
It comes from inner beauty
