Peggy Holloway, with her long red pigtails was the prettiest girl in fifth grade. But all first semester she turned up her cute little nose every time she ambled by my desk. Friday afternoon and Christmas vacation had just begun! The last bell had rung and here came Peggy. I took the sprig from my pocket and raised my arm as she walked by. "Mistletoe, Petey?" she simpered. "I don't kiss strange boys." I pulled out a Milky Way from my other pocket. "Chocolate?" I asked. She spun toward me. "Yes!" She grabbed the candy, kissed my cheek and vanished.   Writing Prompt Write a story of 100 words. not including the title. Any subject accepted.
