I wish that I could whistle,
I’d scare my sister, Sue;
I’d sneak right up behind her
And go … “BOO!”
Hey, Dude, that’s “rilly” silly, ’cause
Your sister, here’s, not Sue;
You know her name is Thistle,
And she whistles better than you!
“Well, Thistle may can whistle
But, I can really BOO
Aa-and, Mom’ll give me ice cream
If I sniffle, and add HOO!
Thistle raised her eyebrows
And grinned at my friend, Ed
Who actually grinned back at her
And said:
“You think you’re such a smarty
With your Boo and your Hoo
But here is somethin’ way, way better
That I can do:
And do you know what he did???
He YELLED SO LOUD IN MY EAR
I can’t hear a word I’m sayin’.
And Thistle whistled.
