My dear children, in your life ahead
You have wonderful things to learn
In school you’ll study subjects like
Reading, history and math, to mention a few
However, the greatest lessons to learn
In or out of school, on the playground
In your family or in the neighborhood
First is kindness to all you will meet
Second, at school or at home
Always try to do the best you can
But most important of all, be true to your heart
And you will become a happy woman or man
