A wand'ring wail ...
My thoughts are like a wand'ring wail,
that takes a ride on frosty gales.
Yet heeds the mind of one who knows
how wild-winds blow - a king-tide flows.
I contemplate, I'd rather be,
where ghost-ships prowl the stormy sea.
And yet my soul's chaotic - roams
where pilgrims trudge through musty domes.
I try to reach beyond dust's thought,
to understand why I'm blood-bought.
This mind was meant to dwell on grace,
not finding fault with frailty's pace.
I'd rather dwell in restful peace,
than travel roads where vultures feast.
Our souls were meant for wisdom's call,
to enter courts where angels sprawl,
and not to wander orphan's grove,
where giants nest and rag-dreams rove.
I'd rather help my loved ones grow,
where time means nought and wise-men sow.
Yet futile dreams rack earth-bound man,
who try to reason cosmos' span.
One may as well chase endless schemes,
where death in silent darkness beams.
I'll serve my Lord where servants kneel
where hope's secure in truth's bright seal.

Author Notes
I wrote this in a contemplative mood, about what we all think on,
what is it all about? I have more or less worked that dilemma out, we were born to love God, and He love us in return. What would you do if a child affectively hated you, chose to ignore you, and even thumbed his nose at you? As a parent you may understand that, and yet you gave them life and provision until they left home,
do you not expect to be loved in return,? Well, imagine how God feels, the difference is He gave His Son to die, so much in love with us is He, but still most still curse Him or pretend He does not exist Yet give a decent hypothesis of how the wonders of this universe happened, was it a gigantic accident? Perfect order out of chaos? Or was it an awesome being who wanted it to be enjoyed. Remember, we are the intruders here, not God.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whomsoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
