We’ve taken to the seas once more. The tide is in, the wind is right. Heave-ho, ye swabs, or go ashore.   So many places to explore and all of them a great delight. We’ve taken to the seas once more.   We’ll swash and buckle, shout and roar, and fight for right with all our might. Heave-ho, ye swabs, or go ashore.   Is Mother calling from the door? I thought we’d rowed plumb out of sight. Leave go, ye swabs, and get to shore. We can’t take to the seas once more.   Recognized Author Notes This is a follow up of my poem "Sailing Away." I changed the last lines to fit the story. A Villanelle is a nineteen-line poem consisting of a very specific rhyming scheme: aba aba aba aba aba abaa. The first and the third lines in the first stanza are repeated in alternating order throughout the poem, and appear together in the last couplet (last two lines). Line length optional. Meter optional. One of the most famous Villanelle is "Do not go Gentle into that Good Night" by Dylan Thomas.
