our Summer readies for her big debut.
Each year's sixth month, a taste of what's ahead...
June twentieth, this summer will renew.
The lovely month of June will usher in,
soft wind that will caress us with its heat,
and then our summer fun will soon begin
with swimming, hiking, picnics, what a treat!
The sky above so blue it hurts the eyes,
the grass and trees in hues of vibrant green.
Sweet happiness is what June now supplies,
so much of nature's beauty to be seen.
The month of June, my favorite time of year.
