Democracy? Who needs it?
Anything for sale.
Rights are swiftly fading,
Declarations pale.
Truth no longer relevant,
Lies now pave the way.
Does "Will of the People,"
seems irrelevant today ?
Democracy is hanging
by a thread at such a cost ~
America at the crossroads
and forever could be lost.
Run through amber waves of grain
gaze up at spangled skies,
baseball cheers, have a beer
a slice of apple pie.
