We got some longed-for news, today;
Our Molly's in the clear!
She's not been well these last few weeks,
we'd feared the end was near.
We found a lump upon her leg,
she found her walks a drag.
She went right off her food and then
her tail ran out of wag.
So many visits to the vet
to try and make her well.
Biopsies, xrays, many tests -
The waiting has been hell.
We've fed her up, we've given meds
and lots of love and rest.
We've hoped and prayed she'd be ok -
Today we have been blessed
with happy news, the bestest news!
The lump is not a threat
and Molly will be better soon.
She's lots of life left yet.
