Further to my previous cinquain poems where I used a format I found online, I have written this cinquain poem to the format detailed on Poetry Dances - A Cinquain is a poem of only five lines. Each line follows a specific pattern. The traditional cinquain, as developed by Adelaide Crapsey, has five lines and a strict structure based on syllable count.
