It's
not just
the rhyming,
it's the timing
too. Not forgetting
the alliterating,
assonating, enjambing
and syllable counting - Bleeding,
painting and weaving words from within.

When I first joined FanStory, I had no idea how much heart, soul and hard work went into writing poetry. I honestly thought it was all about the rhyme!
* THIS NONET IS WRITTEN IN REVERSE ORDER!*
A nonet is a nine line poem. The first line containing nine syllables, the next line has eight syllables, the next line has seven syllables. That continues until the last line (the ninth line) which has one syllable. Nonets can be written about any subject. Rhyming is optional. (Poetry Dances)
