Gospel music is soothing to my soul -
the hymns are sacred ready to extol.
To sing songs, worship, and joyfully praise;
the splendor of this music will amaze.
I love the sound; vocal pitch in control -
lyrics - derived from a musical roll.
The beauty of it all cries out to me;
my soul - happy and triumphantly free.
Gospel music is a joy to behold...
my emotions high and gracefully bold.
Enthused by the choir; giving praise to God -
...the singing is beautiful; I applaud.
It gives me comfort I'm not scared to sing;
I trust God will hear me; to Him - I cling.
