Companions gone, my friends are few and tribulations start anew. A deadly virus rules the land, I have no choice but sink or stand. There is no easy pathway here, no chance for hope to banish fear. Reaching life's summit's what I seek, but I am lost, confused and weak Struggling upward is my goal, but it has cast a bitter toll. Though I am weak, I must go on and pass the weaker ones, now gone. The weak among us always fail- My goal, the apex on this trail.
