I hung up the phone in disbelief. They had already attacked my neighbor down the street. Rabid chickens! I'd heard of them before, but never had to deal with one. These suckers weren't searching for grubs and worms. They were out for blood. What was that sound outside? Scratching! Recognized Author Notes What if one day the tables were turned? What if instead of sitting down to a nice chicken dinner, there was a massive chicken rebellion and you were on their dinner plate? Think it can't happen? Don't be so sure. In this day and age, I'm beginning to think anything can happen. Keep your doors locked and your shotgun loaded.
