A kyrielle is made of quatrains that rhyme. Each stanza (that is a quatrain) has a line that repeats, so a line from a previous stanza. That line usually (but does not necessarily have to) be the last line in the stanza. Each line in the poem has eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. This poem has two meanings: the first is a person who goes to meet Jesus Christ in heaven for the first time. The second is that of a blind person going to heaven and seeing their loved ones, literally, for the first time.
One day, Jesus Christ the Lord will glorify His people; the blind will see, the lame will walk and all will be restored in His image.
Philippians 3:20-21
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
