Compose any 5-7-5 syllable poem with a real or invented word that is a portmanteau. The verse may be funny or serious. The author?s note should define the word if the word used in your poem is an invented or made-up word.

Solidtude is a word not yet included in any dictionary.
Solidtude is the strong feeling one gets from solitude (or being alone in the cold) or meditating about Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862 at Concord, Massachusetts) and his winter writings at Walden Pond, or touching the hard surface of any frozen pond deep in the woods.
